Huawei recently released its latest rectifier featuring 98 percent conversion efficiency globally, the highest conversion efficiency ever released commercially for telecom equipment power supply systems. The rectifier is a key component of telecom equipment power supply systems and rectifies alternating current (AC) into direct current (DC). Incorporating a number of patented technologies including MPII high efficient topology, MEPK intelligent algorithm and MSHT heat dissipation technology, the Huawei rectifier can now achieve a peak conversion efficiency of 98 percent even at 50 percent load ratio, the prevalent DC load, an upgrade from the previous 96% conversion efficiency. At 98 percent conversion efficiency, Huawei’s rectifier can further reduce conversion power loss by 50 percent compared to a mainstream rectifier in industry with 94% conversion efficiency.
