EDINBURG, Va. (AP) — Shenandoah Telecommunications Co. said Thursday its subsidiary signed an amendment to its current contract with Sprint Nextel Corp. that will let it sell Virgin Mobile and Boost prepaid cell phones.
Shenandoah Personal Communications Co., a Sprint Nextel affiliate that operates Sprint stores, will start selling the prepaid phones and services on July 11.
No financial terms of the agreement were disclosed. The company said existing Virgin Mobile and Boost customers will not see any change in service as a result of the agreement.
