Sony Ericsson announced that Dee Dutta, its corporate vice president and head of marketing, will be leaving the company at the end of the month. The handset partnership did not give a reason for Dutta’s departure, who has been head of marketing since 2003 and with the company since 2002.
“Dee has made an outstanding contribution to the growth of the Sony Ericsson brand and our sponsorship in tennis. We would like to wish him the very best for the future,” said Dick Komiyama, president of Sony Ericsson, in a statement.
The company has not yet named a replacement.
