SAN FRANCISCO—Social networking is a key component of Visto’s latest software update. Visto Mobile 6 lets users connect with friends and family in real time using e-mail, social networking, SMS, IM and photo sharing.

Visto Mobile 6 offers end users expanded push mobile e-mail and mobile social networking capabilities using a “living address book.” The address book combines favorite contacts from multiple sources, including social networks, into a single user interface. 

The software update also lets users filter updates from their list of contacts.

The update is currently available. No pricing was provided at press time.
